Giving back to the community

 

Carver Center strives to instill qualities of good citizens in its students, whether it be in their community of peers, or the neighborhoods where they live. Carver Center PTA continually reinforces these qualities by finding ways the students and families can give back.

Trash 4 Cash

Carver Center PTA partnered with Keep Midland Beautiful through its Cash 4 Trash program. Students and their families were able to serve their community by cleaning up two areas of town while earning some money for their school.

Breaking Bread

Families donated items for a uniform sale. The proceeds went to Breaking Bread to help feed those in need.
